I have many students that struggle with the English language and headphones would allow them to listen to the lesson in their language and help them achieve their goals. Many of my students lost everything in the hurricane and are still living with relatives and come to school in the same clothes as the day before so something like headphones or even cheap calculators are a commodity that is down on their list. They are a resilient group and are eager to learn and want to do what is necessary to succeed.
