I have a wonderful group of first graders! They attend a magnet school in Florida. Our students switch classes throughout the day. I am responsible for teaching reading to my homeroom class. I also teach STEM to 3 classes of 18 students. My students are incredibly eager to learn and love STEM. They arrive to my class excited to learn each day. They can explain the Engineering Design Process and see themselves as Engineers. They are constantly asking questions and working hard to develop solutions to problems that they see. It is a blessing to teach these children. I know that many of them will go on to be our future engineers and solve the problems around them.
