The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom. The whiteboard is also used to keep my students on task with assignments for the day.
We have math and spelling speed games, where the students come to the board to work out math problems or spell words for weekly spelling list. By coming to the whiteboard to work math problems or spell words gives them an alternate way to experience math and spelling.
Over time whiteboards become stained from over use and markings become hard to erase. A new whiteboard would definitely allow us to continue our learning!!
