I work with students who are not only economically diverse, but academically diverse as well. My classes currently consist of 21 students in one class and 19 in the another, who all have different strengths and weaknesses academically. There are a total of 11 ESL learners and 7 students who need assistance with their learning. School is the only place where some of them will have the opportunity to use a computers and integrate technology into their learning. My students love learning new things and they love using technology to do it. Sometimes that is the only way that I can keep their attention. I know that I don't like to listen to a teacher lecture all day and I know they don't either.
