My students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds with minimal supplies for school. The school enrollment includes around 700 students and over 80% of the students are on free or reduced lunch. Most of my students have never used a video camera to capture anything before. With video cameras in the classroom, they would have an opportunity to capture all the learning that takes place. My students are not always self-motivated to learn, but with a digital camera to capture activities, I know they would develop motivation to learn. Their potential is endless and they just need to be exposed to the amazing things that the world has to offer them.
