First graders learn what it means to be members of a learning community. We discuss the responsibilities and rights of being a citizen not only in our classroom, but within our school, community and country. We are a classroom of 22 first graders whose ages range from 6 to 7 years old. We live in Texas and attend public school. We are eager to connect with other children around the world and share experiences.
