My students are so eager to learn! They love each other, They love our classroom and they love our school! They want to be acknowledged and praised. Teaching pre-k is the best job in the world! I get to see so much growth physically, mentally, and emotionally from the beginning if the year to the end. I have what I call teacher time, where I call groups of students or individual students to my table to work with them, on what they specifically need to work on. They are all different and learn differently. I have some students who can't communicate to me verbally what a certain color, number or shape is, but they can play a game on my iPad and identify every one! That's a way I know that child is learning, even though his/ her language and verbal skills may no be completely developed yet. I have other students who have great language and verbal skills, but they just love having one on one time with me at my table and they want to see what the iPad is all about too!
