Our school is a public elementary school in South Carolina that serves students from kindergarten to the fourth grade. Within the school, approximately 50% of the students receive free or reduced priced lunch. As the media specialist, I work with all students, including the first grade students who are the focus of this project. There are approximately ninety little first graders who are eager to read and learn as a part of my class in the library. First graders are young and excited about fun ways to learn.
