We are expanding our tier 2 instruction with emphasis on phonics, phonemic awareness and phonology. To be successful we need phonics related manipulatives that can be easily sanitized if shared and some for individual use. Magnetic wands and magnetic alphabet letters will help my 2nd graders to make words, segment words and show knowledge of deletion of words. Flexible seating chairs will help those students that need to be moving in order to learn as well as help with anxiety due to the pandemic. This project will help to bridge the gap in learning due to the COVID pandemic.
