My school is located in a neighborhood that is poverty stricken. Many of our students are homeless, come from single parent households, receive public assistance, and struggle with the basic necessities needed for survival. School is more than an education for our students. We provide free breakfast and lunch, free uniforms, and counseling services, which are only some of the services students receive at school. Our school is dedicated to meeting the needs of our students. Our teachers believe that the students at our school should not be limited by their financial situation.
