My students are eager to learn and they come to school excited each day. I truly am grateful to be able to work alongside them in finding what options work best for them and how they learn!
I know they would absolutely jump for joy if given the opportunity to select what type of seating helps them learn best.
What I appreciate about this group of students is their honesty with themselves and their openness in sharing about what challenges are preventing them from reaching their best. I know for some of my students, their struggle in succeeding is linked with not having the option of flexible seating. Currently my students lay on the floor, under tables, or lean up against a bookshelf while working independently. My hard-working kiddos are so deserving of this opportunity of a new seating arrangement that will help them excel!
