My students attend a public middle school that is composed of grades five through seventh. I teach a group of 150 sixth grade students who love to explore and learn. They are a diverse group with approximately 45% of the student with a low socioeconomic status.
The racial makeup of the school is approximately 70% Caucasian, 23% African American, 5% Hispanic and the other 2% made up of Asian and Native American students. My students are very eager to learn and explore by doing. The majority of them learn best with a hands-on approach to learning and a visual approach which this frog dissection lab will provide.
