I teach 4th grade gifted students in a public education setting (6-8 students a day). Although these students are all ruled gifted, there is still a wide variety of learning levels and interests. Because students have varied learning styles and multiple intelligences, it is important to me to provide learning experiences for all types of learners in my classroom. Generally, students who exhibit high interest in kinesthetic learning, as well as body or music intelligences, are not given the opportunity to promote growth in these areas. In my classroom, I provide various activities for these particular learners throughout my lessons.
