I am a fifth-grade teacher at a diverse school in Thornton, Colorado. Our school is committed to raising lifelong learners with a strong sense of self-efficacy. Book Clubs have been one of the most important ways to foster student independence and curiosity. The students drive the direction of their learning through discussion, asking questions, and seeking answers. It is our goal to empower students to think critically and take action. Book Clubs have been a huge part of that process!
