My students are heterogeneously grouped and represent a diverse mix of abilities and ethnic backgrounds. I have some children who have been identified as Gifted and Talented as well as Special Education, yet each individual brings a unique strength to our class. All of our children attend fifth grade in self-contained classrooms, where all subjects are learned. Science is a critical focus as we prepare our children for a future in some form of higher education. It is my goal to send my students to middle school valuing science and the scientific process.

About my class
