My students have disabilities and sometimes lack interest in reading. These games are interactive and will help to reprogram their outlook on reading. The products I have chosen will encourage my students to read daily. The items included are sight words games, letters games, grammar lessons, decoding and reading comprehension lessons. Sight words make up 50-70 percent of text. They are learned by repetitious actives not decoding. Mastering these words can be done with these games. They will be able to become the characters in stories while reading and acting out scripts. My students’ abilities to read and comprehend will improve with the daily choral reading and writing activities. Making a difference in how my students approach reading is crucial. Feelings of anxiety and avoidance will disappear. These materials will promote rigor, independence and will strengthen the development of all aspects associated with reading comprehension. Their mindset toward reading will change for the better.
