My students are part of an urban community in MA. They are diverse, bright learners. Some of my students grow up in a house with a loving family; others do not. Some of my students have the support at home with parents who will ask what they have for homework and if they need any help; others do not. Sadly, some of the students who attend the school where I teach don't even have parents or a home. I want to impact their lives and show them that there are people in the world who do care about students in need in an urban area.
