Our students show GSA pride in everything they do. They love to dance and run, read new books, explore new math concepts, build structures, play chess and help out their community. Gunsaulus Scholastic Academy is a public school in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood. Our students population is 91% Hispanic and almost all of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Parents involvement and families ties are important at our school and I have several parents coming in a couple days a week to volunteer their time, or taking projects home to help out. Our parents, families, teachers and administration are dedicated to our students' growth academically as well as emotionally.
