My students would use white boards daily in class. They will be able to write or draw their response and I can instantly check for understanding and provide feedback. The great thing about white boards is they allow for versatility across the subjects areas including math, literacy, writing, and fine motor development.
Giving the students the ability to quickly respond in a way that is not paper and pencil, not only saves in paper usage but engages students in a fun and versatile way.
The students will have the ability to answer addition problems, write beginning sounds, words, and practice fine motor skills is very important in kindergarten. Kids love using markers and being able to take a white board to the rug or anywhere else in the room allows for autonomy within the classroom.
