I work at a very high needs school, zoned to include every homeless shelter in our city. Students come from all types of backgrounds, and all different types of abilities. At our school we make an effort to attend the needs of every student, what ever they may be. It is not uncommon to hear of administrators going out of their way to give students rides to or from school, and this amazingly supportive atmosphere allows us to really engage students in the classroom.
