My students are at risk students. We come from a predominantly low income area and have a high percentage of free and reduced lunches. Many times their hard working families cannot afford to give them many experiences outside of the classroom. They absolutely LOVE to learn about new things and are always asking questions about the world around them. They truly are sponges, just soaking up all the new knowledge that they can!
