"The Aviator" is currently comprised of 50 9th and 10th graders who are meeting weekly after school to plan and create a newspaper that will be accessible in both paper form and from the school's website. The students are working diligently during lunches, passing periods, after and before school to create quality stories. Their topics range from current events, school sports, campus events, and student interests. They are doing polls, surveys, interviews, informative, and persuasive pieces. Most of these students have never had the opportunity to be on a school journalism production. They are very motivated and enthusiastic.
