My classroom space is the school lobby where I teach music to 150 students every day. The positives are that it is centrally located for all grades and that we have quite a large fan club of regular school visitors- the mailman, the FedEx crew, the bus drivers, the pizza delivery guy! But the negatives also don't go unnoticed. Especially when my students and I have to schlepp instruments back & forth to different storage closets allocated around the school! Not only is this system literally a pain in the back but it takes away valuable class time. My wish is for a set of rolling instrument carts so I can whisk them away as easy as the lady sweeping the mop on the Mr. Clean commercial. Oh please, please help us to make the lobby a little more user-friendly by helping us to purchase them!
