The students that I teach are in Begindergarten. This is a program for students that age-wise could attend kindergarten, but academically and socially need an extra year to develop. Through activities and learning centers the students are covering basic skills both in language arts and math to prepare them for a successful year of kindergarten. I am teaching at a public school in the Midwest. The building that I teach at is considered a low income school.
