I teach in a kindergarten classroom in West Virginia. I have 20 students. Fourteen of my students reside in single parent homes. I have two students that are being raised by an adult other than a biological parent. I am hoping to help these students learn to read and enjoy school. I want to teach them to strive and set goals for themselves. I love to greet them each morning and see the smiles on their faces and see them eager to learn.
