Remember how proud you felt when you had a book that was yours to keep? Help me share that feeling with my kindergarten class this fall. Many of my students come from families that don't have resources that stretch to include books. I want to help change that this school year by sending home 5 books throughout the school year.
We will begin the school year with the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I will be using the story to help teach letter names to my incoming students. I would like them to have this as their first book for the school year. The book will be send home on the first day of school so they can show off their newly learned skills.
