After four years of teaching lower grades, I am new to fourth grade. This year, I will be teaching reading, science and social studies. It is important for students to have access to fiction and nonfiction texts. My main desire is for the students in my classroom to have access to a variety of reading materials. In our demographic area, reading is not a priority for many our families.
Currently, my students will not have access to a classroom library that they will enjoy.
With your help, my students will increase literacy skills by reading books that they are interested in.
