I teach in a pre-k classroom with 20 students that have many different needs and abilities, and they are each unique and special in their own way. I have many children that come from homes without the proper parental support, and coming to school is the only structure in their day. My school is a melting pot of cultures and many students do not speak English. In addition, I do not have enough materials and supplies for all the students in my class. I struggle every day to make sure that all students’ needs and different learning styles are met. We have computers in our classroom, but most of them are broken and the district does not have the funds to replace them. I do the best that I can for the future of my students.
