We have the honor to work with approximately 480 students here at LM Middle School in Portland, ME. About 51 percent of these students qualified for free or reduced-price lunch. Approximately 59 languages are spoken in our school system and the largest language groups are: Somali, Arabic, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Khmer, Portuguese, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi and Acholi. Our school community is kind, inquisitive, thoughtful, diverse, active, intelligent, energetic, caring and passionate (just to name a few).

About my class
