Most of my students are of Hispanic descent. I grew up in the same neighborhood as many of my students. In fact, some of them had the same elementary teachers I had. They are a good bunch of kids. They have a lot of potential and motivation to learn, their interest just needs to be peaked. They love to play soccer whenever they can squeeze it in. Many of them like to listen to dubstep music. Currently, chess and VC (Vietnamese cards) are becoming really popular on campus.
