I am doing read alouds from home for my class so they can feel connected. Reading aloud to my students is one of my favorite things to do. With everything going on in the world right now, I want my students to feel seen and heard. They will know they are important and valued when they see characters that look like them in our stories. I will record myself reading the books for my students. I will read them live to my class over Zoom. We will discuss the books together.
