Students will be reading a novel aloud in class and using the novel for discussions, writing and vocabulary. This novel will also encourage the love of reading as it has themes and drama relevant to middle schoolers as well as to current events unfolding in Afghanistan. Most students simply do not love reading anymore and I hope to change that by reading and discussing a novel that is relevant to today and is full of the action middle schoolers love. Let's get the kids to love reading again with your help!

About my class
