I am a special education teacher in a rural school in North Carolina. My students receive special education services within my classroom (the resource room) and in the regular education classroom through inclusion services. My students struggle to meet grade level achievement expectations, but they are bright, fun, motivated students. I enjoy them so much, and I truly learn from them every day.
Because my students face hardships that many other students do not, I strive to create an accepting, accommodating learning environment, while challenging them and helping them to grow every day!
