I have a class of 24 bright, excited, and caring kindergarten students. They understand that learning is their most important job, and they take it seriously! Our class focuses on teamwork and getting along well with others. Like all young children, my students are full of energy and always want to tell me about their lives away from school. They come from a variety of backgrounds, and meshing well with peers can be a challenge. As we begin a new school year together, we will work to be a cohesive group of learners. We are a Title I funded school, which means that over 50% of our children receive free or reduced lunch. My students have parents who want to be involved in their children's education. We, as the adults in their lives, share a common goal. We want to build a strong foundation for our children so they can grow up to be successful and contributing members of their community.
