My students, or "scholars" as we like to call them at our high school, are inner city youth with high achievement levels. Many of our students come from poverty stricken environments which they struggle with on a daily basis, yet they all remain upbeat and maintain a high intellect. The school they attend is a public school that is purely based on the International Baccalaureate model. Through this program, the scholars learn holistic values and gain exposure to the world.
