With the gymnastic equipment I have, my students have been using the same thing for up to 6 years. Panel mats are great but to have a visual cue such as the cartwheel mat will make it easier for my students to see what they have to do. The octagon mat will help my students with flexibility and eliminate the fear of "falling" backward to do a backward roll. The reaction balls, cones and Chinese jump ropes will help my students develop eye hand coordination and tracking skills to improve their game, cardio endurance and their reading skills.
Children learn through play. In my class they are learning life skills from tracking to respecting others' space to reading strategies.
