My students all live in a low-income nearly 100% minority neighborhood. Many households cannot afford a computer. Those who are fortunate enough to have one do not have an adult at home who speaks English or can assist them with their schoolwork. We need some updated computers and tablets so the students can learn technology skills, as well as acquire English fluency with high interest, hands-on computer activities.
