STEM is an acronym for the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. STEM activities are vital in making students critical thinkers and problem solvers.
The goal of my project is for my students, through an interdisciplinary and applied approach, to be able to apply the STEM skills they learn into finding solutions to real-life problems.
I am asking for Building Brick STEM Challenge Kit - Pre K‑Gr. 1 which will give my students a fun new way to develop their STEM skills with building bricks which allow them to construct a bridge for a car to cross to creating a marble maze. The STEM Bundle - K-Gr. 1 kIt has lessons and hands on activities using magnets, movement, simple machines and programming robots with suggestions of careers they can explore using the skills and processes they have explored.
Using these STEM Building Kits, my students will have opportunities to create and design projects based on the Engineering Design Process with connections to real life situations.
