My students are unique, wonderful, beautiful people! We are in a public elementary school and my students are 5 and 6 years old. My students usually qualify for my class because they have Developmental Delays caused by Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury or a host of other Syndromes. My students learn how to walk, talk, eat, write, read, push a button to communicate and hundreds of other skills in our classroom. I cannot express the feeling I get when I hear a child talk, or see a child walk for the very first time! Anyway, we have three nurses at our school and half the population are special needs while the other half are typical children. Our school is a FABULOUS place where children learn empathy and how to be kind to others starting at an early age. Please consider us and thank you for all you do!!!
