I have forty-three students who are in the Talented and Gifted program. Twelve 6th graders, sixteen 7th graders, and fifteen 8th graders. I have them for block scheduling (84 minutes) and I am their literacy teacher. My students participate in the National History Day competition every year. This is intense historical research resulting in a final project (paper, documentary, exhibit board, performance, or website creation). My students are self-motivated and very eager to learn new things.
