The students at Camelback High School are among the brightest and most hard-working I have ever met.
The overwhelming majority qualify for free and reduced lunch. Many overcome a variety of obstacles in their lives. Examples of situations that some of our students face are homelessness, incarceration of relatives, and domestic violence. Yet these students rarely complain about their situations, but instead strive to do well in school and better their future. Most will be first-generation college students.
