My wonderful scholars have a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn and try new things. They are eager to make connections between what they read in books to the real world. Yet many of them come from circumstances that limit those opportunities. Their parents lack the resources and/or funding to provide technology in the homes as they struggle to pay the rent, provide food on table, and secure jobs. These kids love technology!!! They love the opportunity to use and learn from computers, ipads, tablets, etc. They are need to be ready to compete in today's high tech world.
About my class
