It would be a real treat for my students to get some new items that would make a big difference in their literacy! We currently have books, sentence strips, paper, pencils, crayons, markers, and other materials needed to assist in their reading and writing, but to have enough uppercase- and lower-case high-quality, sturdy stamps would allow my students to get a kinesthetic approach to their understanding of the English language...especially for my ESL students. By working with partners, peer tutoring can be utilized for those who are low in the above areas and will encourage collaboration. Ink pads would also be nice to have to best entice the stamp center's usage.
