I have 53 kids who are academically gifted, go to a Title I school, and live in poverty.
They are in 2nd grade to 5th grade. Many of them come from single parent homes. Due to their giftedness they are overly curious and I want to ensure they continue to be curious. They love school and learning. Gifted students have certain characteristics and many could be labeled A.D.H.D. or O.C.D., but no labels allowed. Let's just say my class is bouncing, emotional, and full of intensity.
