My students are so amazing. They are all in general education classrooms but come to me for Language Arts instruction and Math. We are honestly like a family and unlike regular education classrooms where they switch peers and teachers every year, we stay together for many years. My room is often the most consistent thing in their lives. There are some kiddos who start coming to me when they are in kindergarten and don't leave me until they head off to middle school. The bond they have with each other is so strong. My students have to work harder than most students just to keep up. They very rarely complain and come to class with a big smiles on their face every day. I am so lucky to get to spend my days with this group of kiddos.
