Don't get me wrong, I am always open to a great hand me down or donation. However, when everything is second hand or pulled from the trash, sometimes it shows. Our library is looking worn.
Every child deserves a library space that feels and looks inviting, organized and made just for them. Using the new baskets, book tree and bookends, will allow the library to be more organized and every book will have a home. The three tier cart and whiteboard will allow our storytime area to be streamlined and inviting. I can't wait for the kids to be able to use the shelf labels to help them be more independent in their library.
A few simple items will be able to pull our library together to help with organization and visual appeal. These items will make such a visual impact that the library will feel brand new to my K-6 students.
