My students will have to read, understand, and follow directions in order to build their robots. In the process of building they will learn about circuitry and function. When they compete against other student they will have to think on their feet, trouble shoot problems, then modify or fix their robots on the fly. In doing so, they will be gaining real world problem solving experience. My students will also learn about working with others to attain a common goal, sportsmanship, and pride in accomplishing a given task. My students will be learning real world skills in a fun and exciting way.
