I have 16 lively students on my caseload and they are all bursting with personality. Our urban public school follows the International Baccalaureate program which requires our students to be knowledgeable, principled, risk-takers, open-minded, inquirers, thinkers, and caring individuals. In order to help my students meet the program requirements, I need to make a more inclusive environment. My goal is for our classroom to feel like a second home where students can feel like themselves and have the freedom to be themselves.
