When students see brightly colored bins with a label and the name of their favorite character or series they become excited and optimistic about participating in reading endeavors. Through the use of colored bins to organize our classroom library, students can quickly and easily find what they are looking for. The bins will support our reader's workshop curriculum, teach the various genres we cover, encourage responsibility with books, and allow for a cooperative learning experience, both assisting each other in book selection and actual book reading. This will instill a love of reading and provide confidence in book selection and make our classroom library a cozy and comfortable environment!
