The books that I have chosen are titles that are rich in comprehension and deep thinking skills. Introducing these titles to my third grade students will help deepen their comprehension and questioning skills As I have watched my students read and choose books I have noticed that they love picture books. These books will allow students to read different types of literature and discover what types of books they love to read. My students now just love to sit down and read. They love getting new books in the library and having these titles will increase their excitement in reading.
